Tanya D. Vincent, LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Board Approved Supervisor in Maryland
Hi, my name is Tanya Vincent, and I would be honored to be your Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have over a decade of experience as a psychotherapist serving children, families, couples, athletes and individuals from all walks of life by providing various counseling techniques best suited for my clients. I believe in meeting clients where they are and using a collaborative style of counseling to uncover the root causes of their mental health needs. I customize treatments for each person/couple using techniques such as, but not limited to, motivational interviewing, strength-based and solution-focused counseling.
I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, completed graduate level courses at John F. Kennedy University in Kinesiology and Performance Enhancement and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University where I was a Division I, 4-time All-SEC Track and Field athlete so I am also passionate about counseling athletes and know the importance of strong mental health while competing and life after competition.
I agree with Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott when he said, "If you're not mentally healthy, if you're not thinking the right way, then you're not going to be able to lead people the right way."
